The only reason that your tire would be dangerous is if you put 50 to 90 lbs in it if it has liquid in it the the danger is much less. Remember with a tube 13 to 15 lbs is all it needs that won't hurt anything. As far as the guy who lost his face when a rear tire blew I'm just a little curious as to where he was and what he was doing at the time and just how much pressure did he have in that tire. And why would he have a backhoe with no ballast in the tire. Walt
