My massey 65 had several gallons of water in the gearbox, but the oil had floated to the top and sealed it, I suppose. No corrosion, no damage. Just had to drain it. I do not think the tractor was run much since it had gotten in there. I had 5 gallons of water and 4-5 gallons of gear oil in there. Was pouring out of every orifice it could as the water level came up.
Not totally sure. It coulda been that I was livin' right. Nah, probably not...
