Ferguson C35???

I'm trying to get information to help a friend in France who has what he tells me is a 1955 Ferguson C35 tractor. I am totally ignorant of tractors. (Well, except I used to use a gigantic old "Poppin John" Deere on the farm when I was a kid in the 1950s.
That thing was already an antique at the time.) So is there anybody out there who can tell me if there was indeed such a beast as a '55 Ferguson C35?
