I'm working on a 1952 Farmall M, and I am not quite sure how the front oil seal goes together. The old ones that I took out are about 5/8 inch deep into the cover, and there seem to be two. The new one that came in my gasket kit is about 3/8 inch and there is only one. Is this an update? Am I missing something? This one just doesn't seem thick enough compared to the old one.
