For occasional use.. fine. For real production work you're going to be talking 15,000 or so for a machine in 'production' condition. Most common is the CASE 510, probably followed by JD 310,410,... then CAT.. Whatever you get make sure it's supported in your area. If you look around, you'll see what's common where you live. For example, here on the coast, everybody had CASE (until very recently) over the hill in the Central Valley (CA) JD was big... why ? A lot had to do with the dealerships in the areas... bb
