I THINK there either was more than one "Cultitractor" or the term was used by more than one company for a small, simple tractor; I seem to recall seeing the name used but don't have any specific notes, other than: United Tractors Corp, NY, NY, produced the Mohawk, a 7-12 or 8-16, 1920-21 or so, that was sold both as Mohawk Cultitractor and as the Cultitractor (per Wendel etc). Wendel also had a note re' a Cultitractor company organised 1918 in Minneapolis, Minn, but he apparently found no proof of any production. A query re' a similar plaque ("The Cultitractor Co., USA") was apparently posted 10-16-06 or so on the Lugs And Cleats forum at smokstak (if my note is correct)...That's all I have.
