Ford Tractor Values

Many people want to know what various tractors are worth. Here's one bit of info on Ford 8N, 861, and 4600. I just now came back from a farm auction where these three tractors sold. All were nicely maintained, though not "restored." None showed signs of abuse on drawbar, steering mechanism, sheet metal, etc., and all ran very nicely. The 8N needed new rear tires. The 861 looked like the seals on the rear wheels were leaking. The 4600 was a 3 cyl. diesel, and showed some evidence of leakage around the left side of the block, possibly head gasket. The 861 included a loader with a trip bucket. It went for $3100--I thought that was too cheap; by the way, it had a manual transmission, no SOS. The 8N went for $2,400. The 4600 went for $7,000. What do you think fellas, too cheap, too high, or about right? There was also a 1941 Minn. Moline "Z" with narrrow front that ran well but looked pretty rusty, and it went for $450. Does anybody ever buy old MMs for collecting?
