Oh they will get a driver in there for that money,, he will fill the seat, he wont be a good safe driver-- they will more than likely get someone with no experience and will be unsafe to those around him,, he wont know enough about the truck or the equiptment that he is hauling, and wont have the common sense to look around him and use his mirrors,,
You also have to wonder about the equipment the company has to pay so little, I am sure they believe the drivers are a dime a dozen,, they are but not good ones,,,
They may get lucky and get an experienced driver in there though, because the high paying good union jobs with benefits and all, are not there either,,
