$50 a week in 1970, where were you working Japan. I was making $2.27,that would be $90 a week, an hr in 1962 and was no where near the middle class. Actually I was pretty much at the bottom of the pile. My title was "Piston Engine Disassembler and Balancers Mechanics Helper. Gas $0.35 for Ethel. 100 octane stuff.
