It's a valid question and yes it is ground up to make table mustard. The fellars up in northern Canada raise it commercially and supply a big share of the worlds market and we were told in a meeting Friday that we can expect the delivered price to triple soon because of the Ethanol demand. I was curious as to what alternative crops they can raise to make ethanol up there because of thier short growing season I'm guessing Barley because they sure can't make ethanol from mustard. The mustard they raise is more of a hybrid variety bred for milling. I've learned a lot about mustard seed since working here. I spent a lot of my farm days trying to kill the stuff as a weed.
