You must always lock cars if they are outside. Lock your home up too, If you are there or not. Punk kids will rip off just about anything of value to buy dope or beer. I have heard of kids stealing deck furniture in the middle of the night for kicks, even just planted shrubs yanked out of the dirt. Outdrive motors stolen off of boats, tires off of new cars in dealerships, gas and diesel out of cars. I could go on for a while. But....lock it all up, keep a shotgun handy and be sure to only shoot somebody if they are in your house.
