The replacement windows we installed in our 1962 Arizona territorial style house are low E Milguard Vynil in the cedar color and am so glad we opted for them rather than others sold here. The original windows were aluminum sliders which were pretty much standard practice and still is for the most part here. We expect a long life with them. They along with 12" Fibreglass Insulation in the attic and 12" Slump block walls with Stucco finish makes our house a warm and welcome spot when it gets cold and a welcome retreat from the heat which is starting now.JC
