And you don't get very much carbon out of blow-by. Spark plugs and oil in the crankcase will stay clean for a long, long time. Not as much Btu's available in propane though. Can use a little higher compression ratio and more spark advance to try to overcome the defiency without the fear of detonation, but still less power will be produced during operation with LP. Personally, I have had a fear of them. You can see gasoline leak, but you can't always LP. These were semi popular here in Tn. but the state was loosing bucks by bieng unable to tax farmers who were filling up cars and trucks from their home supply tank. Tom S.
