My master cylinder was bad when I ordered my new 02 F350 PSD. I would miss gears and grind a few every so often and I thought I was going to have to go back to school to relearn how to drive a manual 6spd...LOL
It turned out the be the push rod seal was leaking inside the cab, about 1tsp of fluid in a 1000 miles. I found a couple drops of fluid on my floor board one day and took it in for a new master and slave(warrantee).

Another thing I found, while rolling forward it's possible too shift into reverse without grinding any gears. I was chasing bad guys one night and did a 360 and just happen too see my back up lights come on before I let the clutch out.
