The basic parts of a plow are as follows, the main piece that holds all of the wear parts is the frog. Of course you know what the moldboard is. At the bottom of the moldboard, the actual cutting edge of the plow is the share. On the inside edge of the moldboard is the shin, this prevents excess wear of the edge of the moldboard. The Landside attaches to the frog and runs along the edge of the furrow wall. These parts can be called different things, but this is how they are described in plow part catalogs.
