How good of an idea is it to increase the pressure without knowing the exisiting system pressure and the pressure after adjustment? Breaking a loader frame, blowing a hose or ram seal is going to drop the load onto something valuable or a person. Odds are those hoses are 30 years old and are about ready to fail under normal working pressure. Making the tractor unstable with too much weight over the front and not enough on the back is dangerous as well. Gravel is very heavy, odds are 1/3 to 1/2 bucket is lots.
