We just had a long-haired gray female show up at our farm. Nearly starved to death. Obviously she was a house cat that someone dumped. Hubby and I both are soft-hearted when it comes to hurting animals and she now has a place at the farm. If you have a farm, you gotta have barn cats. Our place ran out of cats for a while and rats and mice were everywhere. Chewed all kinds of stuff to shreds not to mention what they left behind.
