I need to find an aftermarket ROPS kit for our Ford 4610.
We have 2 problems though. First some of our barns (Old chicken barns) are so low we would need a folding ROPS. Second is that we have the tractor narrowed up as far as it can go for use in our caneberries and a ROPS would not fit on the rear axle between the lift arms and fenders.
I have spent the last hour searching the web for aftermarket ROPS suppliers, but the web is so crowded with junk anymore, every search came up with 20000 responses all of them junk. The 2 real manufactures I came up with only make rear axle mounted ROPS.
Does anybody know of or have a list of ROPS manufactures. I am hoping there is a aftermarket midmount ROPS available.
I know somebody is going to say 'Just build your own'. But here is Washington state Labor and Industries has said that a home-made one is definitely not good enough. Even though we could build it plenty stout, we have to pay for the sticker.
Any Ideas? We need to get this tractor up to code before we get inspected someday. Thanks alot.
