Most of the off-brand stuff that they sell is EXACTLY THE SAME as what Harbor Freight sells, except for the paint color and the price. Northern charges a whole lot more for the same subpar to mediochre tools and equipment.
I do like my HF 7" angle grinder, though. Makes lots of sparks and they're actually coming off the wheel and not out of the case! :)
