The latest issue of Farm Show magazine has some good articles. It's Vol 32, no.2,2008. One is about a guy who has made a vertical windmill. The web page has teaser articles that can be accesed on the web and one is about the windmill. There is a review of home size fuel pellet machines which don't seem to be perfected yet, and a good article about making hydrogen to inject into a car fuel system to get better fuel economy. I don't understand the physics on making hydrogen but they made it sound good. Other interesting articles also.

For several years I had been driving by a farm house on the west side of Indianapolis that had a John Deere combine parked in high weeds in a lot behind the house. The gentleman no longer farmed because the entire area was developed with housing and light industry. I had stopped several times and knocked on the door but no one would answer.
