If it has big tires on the back it should be no problem to tow it. My John Deere dealer towed my new corn planter 25 miles right down a state highway to get it out to me and it's a LOT wider than 10 feet! He said they deliver most machinery that way. As far as towing it that distance, I put 10 miles on my mower every time I cut along my roads and a lot more when I cut my marshes back in the fall. Just grease up the bearings.
