I had to take the wife to Salem yesterday for blood test and on the way out I saw the cow at the creek looking down in it so i stopped and heard the new 1 day old calve calling so I went over to look and sure enough it was in the creek. I pulled it out with a rope and it was OK. when i went out today she was calling it over to her because it did not want to climb the steep hill coming into the barn. By the time i got out there she was down and bringing him around the steep short cut. Darn Cows anyway. I had change my wet clothes before going to town. Walt
