Actually, the Chevy was the 3rd. Second is related to the first. First had to do with a worthless, no good neighbor who had taken advantage of my generosity for years and just ignored me when I said no politely. He has horses, too. I swear he had a motion sensor pointed to my barn. Every time I would hook up the trailer, I'd look at my watch to see how long before the phone rang and guess who. He would say "I see you're hooking up the trailer? Everything ok? Oh, you're going somewhere, can we go?" It was funny at first, but got old. He never paid gas, etc., and always made me late getting where I needed to go. The time that caused the tantrum, I'd had enough and told him he could go if he could be ready in 20 minutes. I was politely saying no by putting a condition on his going I knew he couldn't meet. He ignored that and said he had to make a couple of phone calls. I lost it in the tack room. Stomped, cussed, yelled, threw things. Went to the house and hubby knew I was hot. He said call him up and tell him I said you're not trailering other people's horses. I did and that put an end to that which is another reason why this neighbor hates my hubby. That's the last time he ever tried to bum a ride. He would never listen to me, I always had to get James involved to get his mooching stopped. Second is a long story, too, but this same neighbor pushed my flash button. If you treat a woman's family ugly, you better be ready to deal with her protective instincts. This jerk did something underhanded and ugly to my hubby. He's a wimpy, sorry excuse for a male (won't compliment him by referring to him as man). It had been 4 yrs since he had been ugly to James and I had waited patiently for him to make the first move. It all boiled over when he cussed my horses which were on my property having a good romp. I came around the side of the barn with steam coming from my ears and let him have 4 yrs of pent up anger. He had some "secrets" he didn't know I knew, but he does now. The only reason I didn't go over the fence and beat the snot out of him was I have an hot wire on the fence and you can't climb the fence without getting charged. Hubby came up and tried to pull me away, but I wasn't done yet. He's the only person I have ever cussed in my life and as a Christian I should be sorry, but dadgum it felt good. This male is a mooch who lies and scams people by telling them he has a theraputic riding program for kids and solicits donations. He singles out women because he knows how to play on our emotions. We are not on speaking terms and I intend to keep it that way. He's not liked in the community and I know at least 2 feed stores that won't let him in the door. I know at least one vet had to sue him to get paid.
