We lived in Riverside, probably 50 years ago now...at that time, there were days-lots of days-you could practically cut the air-in Riverside-with a knife. If you drove up to Arrowhead, it looked like the whole valley was covered in fog, but it was smog-the air everyone lived in and breathed. Smog was getting to be a problem in Banning and Beaumont, out in the pass, and getting down into Palm Springs. There're millions more people there now; I assume it's solid housing all the way from LA proper to Riverside and beyond. As the world fills up with more and more people, jammed together in places like LA, there'll be more and more of this.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for �200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
