VW diesel less emissions? need to check author of article- maybe literature or journalism major with no technical background- my old VW rabbit diesel didn't have a cat in exhaust- that made it less emissions than gas model, big deal :( Ultra low sulfur diesel has been in Europe about 10 years now, I think the German road version has a touch of Bio additive- rapeseed/canola with a touch of lard if I remember right. Younger brother says he is going to use horses and team of ponies on mower because fuel if too high- he doesn't want to burn alky mix, he wants to drink more himself. European diesel also may have some coal oil added- France and Germany both have coal processing for coal tars and light oils needed in industry, Germany used the coal oil fuel in WW2. RN
