call Sloan Express 1-800-934-9777 for a catalog.
They have Cob Saver Sieves for combines that send the broken-up cobs into the grain tank along with the kernals instead of dumping them out the back. This leaves you with a corn/cob mix that is great for grinding for livestock. That way, you need one of your combines and a corn head instead of having to buy a whole other machine. You can handle the mix with augers. Ear corn you'd need an elevator, too. And even a New Idea 6-row Uni-picker is slow compared to a 6-row combine with cob-savers. Cob-kernal is easier to unload from wagons than ear corn, too.
Good luck,
Tim from NJ
