I grew up on a farm at the edge of the Nebraska Sandhills. Dad farmed & raised cattle. We milked cows, had hogs, raised a big garden, grew our own potatoes, raised chickens. The folks sold cream & eggs to the local creamery. Graduated from high school & have worked for a factory that makes engine valves for the last 35 years. I run CNC lathes & make the tooling that engine valves are pressed out of. I live on a 2 acre spread in central Nebraska.
