Did someone just change a hose or thermostat or flush the radiator? The 3.1 has bleeder valves that you have to bleed the cooling system. One is located right above the water pump, and one is near the driver side of the engine near the thermostat housing. Your owners manual should tell how to bleed the system. It's not a hard procedure but you must follow it.
I believe the one at the water pump can be bled with the enging off, but the one near the thermostat must be bled with the engine warm and running.
