How about the profits the oil companies are raking in. They continue to set record amounts. This is something the Government could do something about. There is such a thing as a windfall profit tax. I wouldn't mind the high prices if their profits were within reason. I bet everyone of you would like your profits to go up the way theirs have over the last several years. It is really just greed by big oil. If they cut their profit to a reasonable level your gas cost would be about half.
