But I think what what he's talking about are the folks like CBS anchor Sam Donaldson,who was collecting subsidies for his ranch in Arizona or the ones that live on Park Avenue and collect subsidies just because they own a farm. I can see the administrations side of this in putting caps on subsidies,and I see Farm Bureaus side too. The administration says we are paying them to farmers,the Farm Bureau says no,we're subsidizing commodities and that the first bushel produced is no different than the last,no matter who produces it. Kinda hard to nail down just who's right.
