Looking at the back of the gauge board, gauge sender terminal is on the left side, power terminal on the right.
Power needs to have a switched source, I.E. key on, power to gauges. If you have the original three terminal key switch, source will be the ignition terminal, If I remember right it is labeled "I". If not original switch, connect to any terminal that is switched like accessory terminal or power terminal to the coil.
