Greg, thanks for that explanation. I never considered the height of the pivot point. I've been thinking all along that there wasn't much difference. I still like my narrow front IH H with old high-lift loader. Very maneuverable and I haven't tipped over yet. :)


: A tricycle front has a front roll center at the ground.
: A wide front has a front roll center at the pivot.
: If both configurations have the same center of gravity
: height the wide front will have a smaller roll moment.
: The lesser roll moment of the wide front would make
: it more resistant to body roll.
