Lanse, some of the new carb kits come with a new throttle shaft I suggest keeping the old one as these new ones are real cheap and not worth putting in. Float setting is critical be sure to follow the instruction and get it correct.
Also get Dad to break down and buy a small air compressor for you they are not much and will help a lot in your project. If you were closer I would give the old one I have in the barn but you could buy one for what it would take to ship it. Walt
