jd- have a 513 which is a 5' mower but it does come in a 6' model. About a month ago it was used on about 6 acres of overgrown weeds and brush and it did just fine. It'll cut anything you care to drive your tractor over. For the heavier stuff, we brought in a big Deutz that was shielded underneath with steel plate and ran over the bigger stuff. I kept the bucket down on the JD about 3-5" from the ground sos any stumps or large rocks would be hit by the bucket first and they then could be avoided. {that was for Burrhead as another use for a loader} at least he knows a decent mower. A slip clutch is avilabe but mine has shear bolts. Carried a bunch of cheap bolts but only broke one. bo
