Not trying to be a SA, but what do you call "good"? Did you test the condensor? It could be breaking down. Most of the old point igntion had very little coil failure, it was mostly the points and condensor. If you have not changed them, that would be the first thing I would do. Then if you have set the coil air gap at .010, and still have no fire, you have a bad coil. that is about the only way to test them, not many people have a coil tester any more, they are just not used.
