The biggest thing is to have fun with your project .
I do think you would be happier with some lower gears , 3.73"s or so .
Take the time to make sure you have a tight and solid short block . You can change the intake/carb real easily and the heads or cam in a weekend .
Its easy for someone else to tell you how to spend your money on expensive parts . Work with your budget and think about the things you can upgrade on later .
