Paul, It will not have to be banned. People will just quit. Has anyone checked the price of fertilizer lately. I farm only for a 2nd income but I am done. When the price if fertilizer more than doubles in one year, something is bad wrong. There is no way I am going to put $7,500 worth if fertilizer on my hay just to net a few dollars after the high cost of fuel. Not to mention Labor. No one will throw square hay bales anymore, not even our friends from below the south border. I will get me a big wide bush hog to keep the land from growing up and just save myself a lot of aggrevation and trouble. Don't get me wrong. I really like to fool with hay but I am not going to work for nothing. I QUIT.
