My first new truck was in 93 bought a chevy with a v6 kept it a year and traded it for a 94 3/4 ton GMC with a 6.5 turbo. it has 340,000 and am planning on at least 600,000. I did rebuild the tranny and replaced all the berings in the engine at 300,000 not bad for the way i run one, and i did the engine work myself. It still had the cross hatch marks in the cylinders from the factory when i tore it down for the bering job.
I have a 80 one ton and have no idea how many miles it has on it. It was purchased new by an oil company and i got it third hand. As far as i know it still has the original engine and tranny and is still ticking.
