All I was doing was asking a simple question about hay and a guy I know that doesn't feed it or for that matter doesn't feed the animal a sup lament much if at all. Just don't see how they do well. I grain all my animals at least once a day and they always have hay and I never over graze. So I'm just trying to figure out how he gets by and I don't. But then I also make sure my 3 horses are fat and happy
