At what speed do you want to run the engine to do your loader work. Think about that and do a little calculating and we can determine your pump output requirements. Also the pump mentioned from Northern does have a gear drive to increase the speed as a 540 PTO is too slow to be effecient. Now the third opinon. How about a crankshaft driven PUMP? That way you can use PTO for other things at the same time. Also make sure you use a valve with a float position. By the way all pumps advetized output is theoretical output. Actual flow in GPM's will be less. More questions?
