They are an excellent truck. I had the same thing with the 5-speed, it just sold on an auction for 3K, I thought it was a little cheap, but I don't know what all happened to it in the last 100K miles since I drove it. I don't like the automatics, the guys that use them claim they are fine as long as you don't overheat them. I bought a new one in '98 and it has been a very good machine, no troubles but only 100K miles on it, but I often miss the '92
