When I was 6 years old ( 1956 ) Santa brought me a Lionel train. I spent hours watching the trains at the Sears & Roebuck store and just had to have one. My Dad had died and my Mom was supporting three kids by cleaning houses and taking in laundry so a $25 electric train was not an easy thing for my Mom to swing ,but she did. That train meant a lot to me then, but it means even more to me with every passing year. I still have it and its in perfect condition . I take it out each Christmas and play with it with my sons.
