You'll probably never get it all out of the brakes. You can clean it off the surface, but when they get used it comes back up out of the linings. I have heated the linings with the oxy and wiped off what I could, but it never really gets it all out, and often they end up grabbing or similar afterwards. One trick if you have clean shoes on the other side, is to clean the dirty ones up as good as possible, then swap one shoe from each side as to make it even. Just a thought. Stops the grabbing on one side only anyway. Dont forget to heat up the drums when cleaning them too, as a similar thing happens to them. God Bless, Rex
