Off diesel is cheaper and kerosene will work fine.I keep 5 gal of off road diesel on hand just in case.I used to keep a 50 gal drum of off road diesel on hand before the price went nuts.Dont let the furnace run out because its hard to restart even when you know how.Service call 100.00 here.Just keep the red dyed stuff out of vehicles used on the road.IRS has snoops on the road checking truck tanks for red fuel.The red dry screws up kerosene lamp wicks.Outside tanks have to use a blend of ker0sene and #2 here.If you dont understand fuel jelling put a little olive oil in a cup ,leave it in the refridgerator.
