Remember, the higher a weight is lifted, the more moment arm it has on the base. A pickup truck is a fine and steady base for 500 lbs sitting three feet off the bed. But when that weight is 15 feet up, it rocks and swings tremendously, and many times the truck goes over on its side. 26 feet and you could probably knock the truck over with just some wind.
As previously mentioned, outriggers, *real* outriggers, are going to be vital if you plan to really use this lift.
And how does it mount? If it's just bolted to the bed, the bed is going to rip under the leverage. If it mounts to the frame through the bed, things are much better.
