I know two guys who have Belarus tractors. One is an older guy who uses it for haying. He thinks it's a good tractor and is very pleased with the price/performance ratio.
The other guy has a smaller one that is a two-cylinder, air-cooled diesel. He seems to have had a fair bit of trouble with it. Among other things, he has a five-foot tiller that he pulls behind it. The tiller really works well because the lowest gear on the Belarus is a creeper gear that allows the tiller to do its thing. I think that maybe his problems are because the tiller is too big for the tractor.
Both of them are able to procure parts locally in Middle Tennessee.
