Jay's post said "sales tax" not road tax. We have had to file a form with the fuel company and with any other company where we buy ag related stuff that exempted us from sales tax on that ag stuff including off road diesel. I have had the fuel company fill my ofd tank and fuel oil tank in the past and they make one stop and fill both tanks from one truck. There were however two reciepts one for ofd with no SALES tax charged and one for fuel oil with sales tax charged. Some farmers have been suspected of filling their fuel oil tanks from their ofd tanks. tsk tsk tsk.
