The only good way of finding out what a vehicle weighs is to put it on an accurate scale. I have used the scale at the local grain elevator. If you know of a drag strip, they usually have scales. Another place that you might try is the local dump or refuse transfer station. Lots of places will weigh a vehicle for free, but others might charge a few dollars.
A less accurate way of getting an approximate weight is to look through books, magazines and literature for the "shipping weight" of the vehicle in question, which should be listed in the specifications. But in my experience that weight is usually hundreds of pounds less than the vehicle actually weighs with all the fluids full, the spare tire in place, undercoating, whatever. Good luck!
