8600 update!

In the process of trying to get the old girl runnin, we burnt the post on the solenoid and probably burnt the starter itself, gonna try and rebuild that tonight. I put a new solenoid on and only achieved a small spin and lots of smoke from the starter motor. I am getting a new fuel pump that mounts on the side of the injector pump, the local serviceman said that these go bad too. I am renting a Deere 4440 to finish up the plowing and will gradually work on the Ford. Can't afford to buy a new tractor this year. Thanks for all the feedback and help.
