Well, you were so right and fully appreciated. We just had some 10 below weather here in Iowa and I thought, with the 350 sitting outside, it would be a good time to work on it.
I built a small fire under the rear end, shielded it from the wind with tarps and let it burn until it was good and warm.
When I pulled the drain on the casing about four gallon of clear water came out. I half expected it to turn to antifreeze before it stopped.
I plugged it back up and refilled the transmission and all is looking pretty good now.
